Edible Landscaping & Food Forests for the Florida Panhandle
Trade some lawn for fruit trees, kitchen beds and herbs that thrive in Panhandle sand and heat. FL Panhandle Edibles designs and installs edible landscapes and food forests with plants we grow and trial at our Port St. Joe nursery, anywhere from Pensacola to Tallahassee. Start by sketching your yard in our free online planner, or book a free call.
How It Works
Step 1 — Free Call (Phone or Video)
Tell us what you’d like to grow and how you use your yard. Want a head start? Sketch your yard in our free planner and save it, and we’ll look it over before we talk. No commitment, no pressure.
Free · 30–45 minutes · Phone or video
Step 2 — On-Site Assessment
We walk your property to evaluate sun exposure, water flow, soil conditions and existing plants, and give you our recommendations. Outside Gulf, Franklin and Bay Counties, the visit also includes your first draft design: what to plant, where it goes, and how to build the soil and water it.
Free in Gulf, Franklin and Bay Counties · $450 elsewhere in the Panhandle, with first draft design
Step 3 — Build & Plant
We bring the design to life: soil prep, raised beds, drip irrigation, mulch and planting, with trees and seedlings from our nursery at store prices. Plant it all at once or in stages as your budget allows. Prefer to plant it yourself? Take your plan home and pick up your plants from us.
Raised beds from $375 (6–8 ft, ground level, with drip irrigation and plants) · Full gardens and food forests quoted by scope
